Describe the occupied space first
An active nest beside the patio door can interrupt the household’s normal route outside. A nest in a remote corner of the property may present a different question. Tell the provider which entrance, seating area, or path is affected. Use a safe viewing distance and avoid disturbing active insect traffic.
Keep the site accessible without approaching the nest
Explain the approximate height and whether the nest is visible or insects disappear into a gap. This does not establish the species or the full nest location. Mention gates, pets, and any access constraints so the inspection can be discussed before arrival.
Understand the return to use
Call Temple Pest Control to ask about the identified problem and the proposed scope. Clarify preparation, nest handling, aftercare, and when the area can be used again under the provider’s instructions. If the activity involves a wall or other building component, ask whether any opening repair or later inspection is a separate responsibility.
